Lizzie’s music is an invitation to feel it all. Drawing from a deep connection to nature, emotion, and voice, her songs live somewhere between journal entry and spell.
One of her earliest commissions as a songwriter was composing original folk songs for Witches Gets, a play by Noelle Harrison exploring witch trials, which ran for two consecutive years at the Edinburgh Storytelling Centre and was later adapted into the best-selling novel The Witches of Vardø. That experience planted a creative seed that’s took fuller form through her Master’s in Songwriting at ICMP London, where she began developing a concept EP inspired by the women persecuted during the witch hunts. This is now being produced with Valeria Murillo Tapia through Oolong Sounds.
Lizzie brings a grounded, intuitive understanding of the voice to her creative work. Her background as a certified music and singing teacher continues to inform her approach as a vocalist and collaborator.
With over 300 hours of yoga teacher training, and a decade of teaching yoga all over the globe, Lizzie’s creative and spiritual practice extends into ceremonial and communal spaces. She leads women’s circles, cacao ceremonies, and retreats honouring the Celtic wheel of the year and the wisdom held in seasonal transition. Through shared song, kirtan, and voice-led ritual, she explores music as a collective experience: one that dissolves boundaries between artist and community.
